Bellydance-Southwest.com is to become a free, totally unbiassed and unrestricted, bellydance information centre serving the whole of the southwest region of the UK i.e. Bristol, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. We shall attempt to gather news and information relating to the belly dance scene within the region and will publish as full a list as possible of teachers, performers, groups, classes, haflahs, events, social gatherings and anything else which could be associated with the art of bellydancing. We hope that the site will eventually become the main source of general bellydance information within the southwest of England. The website is being maintained by Pam & Vern on a purely voluntary & temporary basis until their new & redesigned site is up and running as outlined above. Latest progress report (17/11/08)
Our new website is coming along nicely and is expected to launch near the end of November. We already have a list of about seventy belly dance teachers and over a hundred places where classes are held in the region but we know that there are more teachers and classes out there who could be included on our site. However, we can't contact them if we don't know who, or where, they are. So, please contact us with the details and we will do our best to include the information here. Thanks.
